Reetika is responsible for SVB’s payments strategy and development as well as working collaboratively with clients and partners to help deliver their solutions to market. She has been recognized by PaymentsSource as one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women in Payments for the past three years and currently serves on Electronic Transaction Association’s Board of Directors. Prior to SVB, Reetika held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase, Clairmail (acquired by Monitise), Wells Fargo, and Sapient.
Philip leads initiatives across First Data’s Business Development and Ventures efforts. Prior to joining First Data, he worked at Morgan Stanley on the firm’s private equity funds. Philip holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Finance from Fairfield University.
Regina has been an advocate for early stage founders at Silicon Valley Bank for the past 5 years. She was a relationship manager for SVB early stage clients in NY and SF before joining the Commerce.Innovated. team. She is currently also pursuing her MBA at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Joe is responsible for managing initiatives across a range of functional areas including Corporate & Business Development and Enterprise Strategic Accounts. Prior to joining First Data, he worked in the music industry which involved tenures at various recording studios. Joe holds an MS in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
Sophie is a senior payments strategist at Silicon Valley Bank. Sophie previously worked across Australia and Hong Kong as a banking and finance attorney, specializing in financial regulation and financial services M&A.
Sam is responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives on behalf of First Data’s Management Committee, focused on delivering innovative technology solutions for clients. Prior to First Data, Sam worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. analyzing real estate acquisition and development opportunities for the firm.

Chris is Chief Information Officer at First Data, leading the company’s software development, engineering, enterprise architecture, and data management. He is an integral part of accelerating strategic innovation, and transforming how First Data leverages technology to help clients grow their business. Chris is a graduate of the College of Holy Cross and the New York University Stern School of Business.
EJ Jackson recently joined First Data to lead the Integrated Solutions business unit. Jackson has spent more than two decades in leadership, product strategy, business development, marketing, and sales for VC-backed and large enterprise software companies. He comes to First Data from SAP, where he served as SVP and GM of SAP Anywhere. Prior to his role at SAP, EJ was the President and Founder of Provade Inc., a leading VMS SaaS provider in the market.
Jack Stephenson heads strategy, partnerships, and client solutions in digital commerce and mobile payments. With more than 25 years’ experience in corporate strategy, innovation, business intelligence, and mobile commerce, Jack co-founded and led McKinsey’s Payments Practice, serving banks, credit card companies, processors, telecom operators and technology companies. Prior to joining First Data he led mobile and payments innovation for PayPal and JPMorgan Chase. Jack is a recognized expert in payments, and has been a frequent speaker and author on topics related to digital commerce.
Scott joined First Data in early 2011 to lead a user-driven approach to innovation and help enable innovation throughout First Data. He runs the Innovation Lab, a cross functional team of product managers, user experience designers, technology, and client innovation leaders, whose goal is to disrupt the future of commerce in collaboration with our clients. Sanchez is on the faculty of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University and is a founder of Innovators Atlanta. Before joining First Data, Sanchez spent two years at Visa running Commercial Marketing and driving innovation strategy. Before Visa, he spent 8 years at Intuit in product management and the innovation lab.
Chris leads strategic payment initiatives across SVB and partners with start-ups and growth companies in the payments and commerce space to help them develop and optimize payment solutions.
Shannon is responsible for working with Fintech and payment clients on their compliance, BSA/AML, and risk programs at SVB. She maintains a CAMS certification and has spent over ten years focused on financial crime and risk management.
Jim manages SVB’s relationships with Silicon Valley based VC firms focused on seed stage investing. Part of Jim’s role at SVB is also working with and connecting entrepreneurs to various resources within the SVB platform.
Jai is on the Payment Strategy and Solutions team with a focus on the Acquiring business at Silicon Valley Bank. Jai has over 10 years’ experience in payments and prior to joining SVB spent time at Visa in their digital products group and at IP Commerce helping to enable payments for PayFac’s and cloud based POS.
Christine has served as First Data’s chief operations officer (COO) since June 2013. Reporting to CEO Frank Bisignano, Christine leads the company’s global operations, overseeing 13,000 employees, driving change to the company’s systems and processes in order to improve the total client experience and drive revenue growth. She was named one of the most influential women in payments for 2017 and currently serves on First Data’s Management Committee and the Board of Directors of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
John is the head of technology banking for Silicon Valley Bank where he is focused on delivering best-fit solutions, insights and connections for the bank’s technology and innovation clients and the groups that support them. John is constantly – and enthusiastically – making connections between entrepreneurs, investors, the Fortune 500, bankers and even winemakers.
John is a member of the advisory board of DEMO and ASTIA and serves on the boards of BUILD and the California Israel Chamber of Commerce.
